Reduced to the absolute essentials, don't let yourself be fooled by the size of the Basic, especially in comparison to our large boards: The two containers attached at the front almost double the available working surface and structure it efficiently - the Basic actually feels much bigger in everyday use than comparable or even larger boards, as waste & cuttings disappear directly from the working surface, thus creating additional space for working and storing on the cutting board itself. With a total weight of just 4kg, it is easy to carry and can be used almost anywhere in the home - e.g. at the living room table with the children or in the garden while barbecuing.

The Basic is the ideal chopping board for everyday kitchens for 2-3 people, and larger recipes for 4-8 people can also be easily reproduced with it. But if you cook regularly for more than 4 people, you could also enjoy a mono or the BASIC L - additional space is always an advantage.
